The Opstad Camp of Forced Labour

Ståle Olsen, who has become famous as the correctional historian of Norway, visited KRUS this week to present his new book project, which is about the development of Opstad camp of forced labour to Åna prison. During the week the participants will exchange experiences of the cognitive monitoring and maintenance program. In June 2009 the Council of Europe held a Round-Table conference in Chişinău, Moldova. The picture above shows representatives from the prison administration in Moldova. 29 practice supervisors met for the annual fall conference of the KRUS Academy today, and was welcomed by the academic inspector Anne Mari Gjerstad and senior supervisor Erlend Wærum and supervisors Marit Haveland, Trond Are Sandnes and Sven-Erik Skotte.
