All those attending received extensive information about Åna prison and the Prison School (KRUS). Prison Director Mette Grude told about Åna prison and today's operation, while the prison chief Marit Waldeland showed pictures and told about the practical life in prison. Prison Lieutenant Erlend Wærum from KRUS informed about, among other things, the contents of the program and admission requirements that apply to be admitted as a prison infractions.

The 20 aspirantene currently conducts its training at Åna, and that only a few months left of the two-year program, asked sympathetically up to show the many attending around inside the prison, and responded to questions about jail and prison school.

The organizers were in retrospect, very pleased with the execution, and hope to let this become a tradition. Prison Inspector Morten Røer have faith that this is a measure that will benefit the prison's recruitment efforts in the long term, and hope that Åna prison also later will be able to open its doors to curious onlookers.
