Open Day at Åna

Åna prison went this year new ways to recruit locals to seek prison school. Tuesday 28 August opened the parts of the prison for a total of 73 interested candidates. The KRUS Prison School also participated at the event, which was well directed by, among others, the prison inspector Morten Røer, aspirant leader of Åna prison. Read more>

1680 applicants for prison school

The prison school received a total of 1680 applications for fall admission for the course 2010-2011. The application deadline expired on Friday 21 August. Never since 1994 (2200 cases) has the number been so high. Only once, in 2003 we received 1722 applications. All applicants should now have received confirmation by e-mail. Read more>
