reorganized with the following departments
and department managers:
Department for Maintenance & IT
Main focus: Development and operation of buildings and equipment that promote the health, safety and well being of employees and users and that contribute to good environmental management.
Administration Manager: Tor Grindaker
Department for Supplementary and further education
Main focus: Implement and develop the continuing education of high quality.
Develop a basis for good skills development initiatives in the agency.
Department Manager. Janne Helgesen
Department for Studies
Main focus: Implement and develop the research and experience-based quality education to meet the agency's needs.
Drive professional development and ensure there is a close technical cooperation between KRUS and training prisons.
Department manager: Egil Larsen
Department for Research
Main focus: Contribute to research and knowledge-based education, practice and decision-making in correctional services.
Research manager: Berit Johnsen
Department for Study Administration & Recruitment
Main focus: Recruit and ensure that new trainees are fit for prison profession.
In addition, we provide information, support and service to the trainees and course participants.
