2012 PELTS
We have welcomed 155 new cadets
The first cohort to follow the "NOKUT-approved" curriculum is on track
By Ottar Evensen - Wednesday, January 04, 2012

The first cohort to  follow the new curriculum met at KRUS today and was welcomed by our Director Hans-Jørgen Brucker and Manager of Studies Department Egil Larsen. The former emphasized in his welcome address that as an employee of The Correctional Services it is always important to remember that you represent a government agency, in working hours as well as in leisure time. And Egil Larsen informed about the long process KRUS has carried

forward to NOKUT approval, which means that our Academy now offers a very 'lucrative' education, which provides both credit in the academic system of Norway and pay during training. The new arrangement means that the new students start with a  five months course at KRUS, with second-year cohort. We will be somewhat cramped in KRUS in 2012, but it also provides good opportunities to become familiar with even more of you future colleagues.
